Turn-off Delay 12VDC
Description
Turn-off Delay 12VDC
As soon as the operating voltage is applied to the module, a timer starts. The relay switches only after the set delay time has elapsed and remains activated until the power supply is disconnected. Technical Specifications
- Main chip: NE555 timer IC
- Operating voltage: 12 V DC (direct current)
- Adjustable delay time: 0 to 10 seconds
- The time can be adjusted continuously using the small gold-colored screw on the blue potentiometer (labeled "504M" = 500 k?).
- Note: The delay time can be calculated using the formula T = 1.1 ? R ? C. If necessary, the time duration can be extended by soldering in a larger capacitor.
Relay switching capacity (Songle SRD-12VDC-SL-C):
- AC voltage: max. 250V / 10A or 125V / 10A
- DC voltage: max. 30V / 10A or 28V / 10A
- Maximum switching power: up to 2200W
Current consumption:
- In idle state (during timer operation): approx. 5mA
- With relay energized: approx. 30mA to 80mA
- Dimensions: approx. 68mm x 21mm
Input side pinout (screw terminal / input port):
- VCC: Connection for +12 V DC
- GND: Connection for ground / negative terminal (-)
Output side (3-pin relay terminal):
The relay functions as a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switch and provides three contacts:
- NC (Normally Closed): Closed when the relay is de-energized and during the delay period; connected to the center pin (COM).
- COM (Common): Common center contact.
- NO (Normally Open): Open when the relay is de-energized; connects to COM only after the set delay period has elapsed.
