Note on detection: Since the sensor relies on optical reflection, the exact detection range depends significantly on the surface and color of the obstacle. Bright, white surfaces reflect infrared light most effectively (maximum range), while deep black, matte surfaces absorb the light, meaning they are only detected at very close range or not at all.
