Description
CAN + is an electronic component with which you can easily, quickly and inexpensively generate the function terminal 15 in vehicles with CAN-BUS control, i.e.: plus 12 volt ignition.
CAN + is used when a car radio, a hands-free system or a navigation system is retrofitted to vehicles with CAN-BUS control. When installing a hands-free kit, the yellow wire (MUTE) of CAN+ must be connected to the yellow or pink wire of the hands-free kit (output). This ensures that a phone call can be continued, even if the engine is switched off during the call.

How it works
CAN + is activated automatically when you start the engine. After 3 seconds, CAN + supplies the subsequently installed accessory components with the required 12 volt voltage. When the engine is switched off, after 10 seconds CAN+ automatically interrupts the 12 volt supply. When installing a hands-free system, the yellow mute cable from CAN + must be connected to the mute output of the hands-free car kit. This ensures that&rszlig; after switching off the engine, the telephone connection remains active until the end of the call.
